We have some exciting news to share. Lighthouse Labs is launching a suite of new Data Science courses, including a part-time Introduction to Data Analysis, Data Science Immersive Bootcamp, workshops, and corporate training offerings.

With 2.5 Quintillion bytes of data created daily, data is driving business insights and strategic decisions across all industries in unprecedented ways. Businesses collect data constantly, and future-minded professionals need the skills to leverage that data for meaningful trends, patterns, and predictions for business (and career!) success. From executives to early-stage professionals, we all need to learn how to analyze and interpret data.

Professional Data roles are tipped as some of LinkedIn’s 15 Fastest-Growing Jobs, making them some of the most lucrative, in-demand jobs in the tech industry. That opportunity, coupled with our desire to make sure Canada's innovation potential is not limited by the lack of data-equipped talent in our workplaces, made it an obvious choice for Lighthouse Labs to add data to our portfolio.

Lighthouse Labs is not your typical school. Meet Our New Courses

The immersive 12-week Data Science Bootcamp is a hands-on, immersive, outcome driven, industry relevant course that will help students rapidly transition their careers into Data Professionals. From Python to Machine Learning, students will learn a mix of programming, math, and data skills and graduate from our program ready to put those skills to work in a range of Data Science roles including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, or even Machine Learning Engineers. The data industry will be evolving heavily in the next few years, and this bootcamp will prepare graduates to evolve with it.

Our part-time offering - Intro to Data Analytics - is designed for those of us who want to add some data skills to their careers without quitting their day job. Students from any industry can take this course, where they’ll learn how to make the most of the tech they already have at their fingertips to extract and share business-boosting insights from their company’s existing data. Whether you’re in HR, marketing, or real estate, Intro to Data Analytics will give you the data skills you need to grow in your existing role, as well as your future career.

In the coming weeks, we’ll release more exciting resources and content to introduce you to our brand new world of data. This is an exciting new chapter for Lighthouse Labs as we take all of our success in coding education and translate it to how we train people in data.
