Lighthouse Labs and Venture for Canada are partnering to provide more opportunities for recent graduates with entrepreneurial spirits, helping them gain the vital technical skills needed for building Canada’s next generation companies.

Venture for Canada is a not-for-profit organization that recruits top recent graduates to work at Canadian startups in need of talent, with the mission of fostering entrepreneurship. Venture for Canada Fellows spend two years working at a Canadian startup, in addition to a five-week Fellow Training Camp, and ongoing mentorship.

Through the program, recent graduates gain the experience, network, and training needed to successfully launch their own firms. Venture for Canada Fellows include alumni of The Next 36, a Top 20 Under 20 recipient, and a former Apple engineer. As part of the partnership, Fellows will receive discounted rates for Lighthouse Labs courses, which can supplement their on-the-job work experience at different startups.

In addition, Lighthouse Labs is offering discounted prices for courses to all Venture for Canada applicants. For the most recent cohort of Fellows, over 800 individuals applied for only 37 Fellowship spots. Through the partnership, hundreds of recent grads will gain access to Lighthouse Labs courses at a reduced price.
